I have been away for a while because I’ve been suffering from writer’s block. My writer’s block came about due to all the unfinished business in my life, my junk! The junk I’m referring to is all the stuff you don’t want to deal with. It’s everything and anything that you put away and told yourself you’d come back to, but never did.
Guess what happens when that closet gets full? It starts spilling over, and before you know it, that closet door can no longer close, and you’re looking for new places for your junk to go. However, now you’ve run out of closets, and you don’t have a choice but to leave your junk out in the open. This is where the danger kicks in because now you’re exposed, and you have to be careful. You have to watch your step because you’re trying not to trip over your own junk, and the people who are in your life are now watching out for your junk too!
While encouraging myself, I would like to inspire others to “deal with it.” Whatever your “its” are, deal with them all. No matter how big or small, face everything. Life really and truly is what you make it. You are the judge of how big your problems are. To truly believe that nothing is too hard for God means that all of your problems should weigh the same. Give everything to God and let your faith remain.
