Therapy

I feel that my therapist’s office is like a courtroom, and I’m on trial for my life. My therapist, of course, would be my lawyer. I was asked if I thought therapy worked, and my response was my court and trial theory. Your “lawyer” or therapist can help you only as far as your openness to the truth of your story.  The more you leave out, the more you lie, the less likely they are to help you.

One has to be ready, as ready as one can be anyway. I have to be open. The most frustrating thing for me is the time.  How long do we have to keep doing this?  How long do we have to listen to my life on repeat before I’m finally getting somewhere, and not having a relapse of depression or sadness? They always say money can’t buy you love; well, it can’t buy you happiness either. Some of the wealthiest people in the world are the saddest & loneliest people in the world. The best things in life really are priceless!
